Purpose: m2act promotes cultural co-creation, supports open knowledge transfer, advocates for fair practices, and is committed to sustainable structures in professional Swiss arts and culture.
m2act supports co-creative initiatives that contribute to fair and sustainable practices across all artistic and cultural disciplines.

Once a year, m2act launches a call for impactful projects. The program supports projects that develop and test forward-looking methods, working approaches, structures, and tools. m2act focuses on co-creative initiatives that are equally developed and implemented by cultural workers and specialists from other fields and societal sectors. Through scouting, m2act continuously identifies additional projects that are also dedicated to cultural co-creation, open knowledge transfer, as well as fair practices and sustainable structures in the Swiss cultural landscape. A total funding amount of CHF 370,000 is available annually.

Public networking events provide a platform for exchange between cultural workers and other specialists. The main focus of these events is the joint negotiation and testing of innovative ideas and approaches for the working and living realities of cultural workers in Switzerland.

Insights, findings, and practical tips from the events and supported initiatives are made available to all interested parties through the digital m2act toolbox.
